Personal Update
Chrissy had eye surgery
Last year Chrissy had corrective eye surgery. The doctor said that for 98% of people the surgery works the first time, however, for 2% of people who have the surgery, they will need to have surgery again. Chrissy has always been in the top of her class (haha) … so she had to have that surgery again this year. The great news is she is healing well and we are believing for a full recovery.
We got to see family
We have been blessed to spend time with both Chrissy’s family in Fullerton and my family in Iowa. So much fun!!!
This was one of our most memorable trips. Why???

We Survived COVID
You guessed it… It was a COVID Thanksgiving. Families that quarantine together, stay together (haha).
Although we’ve spent the last couple weeks recovering, we are grateful that our symptoms were minor and we are feeling better now. God is good!
Ministry Update
November Strategic Prayer and Planning Meeting
In November the reFocusing team met for a strategic prayer and planning meeting. As a team we co-discerned what the Lord wants us to focus on for 2021…and that is launching teams that make new disciples of Jesus!!!
I am so excited to work with such an amazing team!
Partner Support
God is continuing to show His faithfulness! We have now reached 84% funding! That’s incredible, and it’s only by God’s grace! We still have 16% more until we are fully funded and we are confident God will provide!

ACTIVATE(D)
We will be launching some ACTIVATE(D) ministry classes in January and February…More details below
ACTIVATE(D) is a collaborative network of mobilized followers of Jesus from around the country who are committed to making new disciples of Jesus! They are supported and coached to effectively launch teams that create new strategic disciple-making initiatives and relationships.
HOW DO WE DO THIS?
A 3-step process…
Step 1
Discover Workshop
The Discover Workshop is a 4-week class that is designed to help people explore and discern their personal calling. People will walk away with a clear understanding of whom they are most compassionate for and what they want to see changed in their lives.
Step 2
Team Series Training
The Team Series Training is a 10-week small group where individuals build community that is centered around living on mission and grow even more in their affection for Jesus.
Step 3
Launch a Team
These communities launch out as ACTIVATE(D) teams making new disciples of Jesus. Our dream for you is that you and your teammates would see whole neighborhoods or networks come to know Christ!
