Personal Update
2nd Christmas
We started January off by celebrating 2nd Christmas. Some of our family members were sick with COVID in December so we waited until everyone was healthy and feeling better and we celebrated what we’re calling “2nd Christmas”!
My thought is…2021 is off to a good start if you celebrate Christmas in January!
Eden Turned 10
Wow! Where has the time gone! My brother once told me that when it comes to kids “… the years are short and go by fast!” And boy was that the truth!
Watching Eden grow up has been amazing and it seems like it’s going by way too fast. Here’s to many more birthdays to come!
Ministry Update
Below are two of the three messages I shared in January. I pray that they are an encouragement to you.
Sermon at New Life
On January 3rd I preached a message at New Life Community Church in Oxnard CA. The message is entitled “This Will Make A Difference”. As we begin to walk into this new year we must remember that what we know and what we don’t know makes all the difference.
In this message we explore Romans 8, where God shares with us 5 things that will make all the difference. I pray that this message is a blessing to you!
Sermon at Gateway
On January 10th, I spoke at Gateway Foursquare Church in Agoura CA. This message is called "Jesus is Worthy” and it is from Revelations 5.
If Jesus is the only one who is able, qualified, and worthy enough to handle the world’s problems, then He is able, qualified, and worthy enough to handle yours. The question remains, will you trust Him?
Partner Support
God is continuing to show His faithfulness! We have now reached 85% funding! That’s incredible, and it’s only by God’s grace! We still have 15% more until we are fully funded and we are confident God will provide!

ACTIVATE(D)
We will be launching some ACTIVATE(D) ministry classes in February…More details below
ACTIVATE(D) is a collaborative network of mobilized followers of Jesus from around the country who are committed to making new disciples of Jesus! They are supported and coached to effectively launch teams that create new strategic disciple-making initiatives and relationships.
HOW DO WE DO THIS?
A 3-step process…
Step 1
We Train You
We have two training steps that we will walk you through. The first is the Discover Workshop which will help you discern and discover God’s calling for your life. The second is the A(D) Team series which is a 10-week small group where individuals build community that is centered around living on mission and grow even more in their affection for Jesus.
Step 2
You Gather A Team
The invitation after the training is for you, as the leader, to gather people in your life that you would like to “team” with. Then you will lead your team through the two steps and we support, encourage, and come alongside you as you do.
Step 3
We Support You
These communities launch out as ACTIVATE(D) teams making new disciples of Jesus. Our dream for you is that you and your teammates would see whole neighborhoods or networks come to know Christ!
