WE ARE ACTIVATE(D).

A(D), for short, is a rallying cry for the King’s servants, calling us back to an ancient season of relationship, sacrifice, and revival. It is the year of our Lord, 2020 AD, anno Domini. And the Kingdom of God is at hand. Our hearts break for the lost, so we embrace the call to make new disciples of Jesus everyday, in every way, with all we have. We dream deep and wide for our neighborhoods and networks that don’t know him yet.

We are the fringes of a sleepy church, the discontent, those marginalized by the status quo, no longer willing to maintain church-as-usual or promote unhelpful structures. We are only an organization inasmuch as it supports our collective commitment to sharing the Gospel with the lost, growing in our affection for Jesus, and helping one another do the same. We want to reject narcissistic motivations and self-promoting platforms because we must decrease so that He will be made famous.

In the church, we embrace our often-persecuted roles as catalysts, fire-starters, and pebbles in the shoe. We are done talking about mission and merely gesturing towards it. We seek to live it now, leading others towards the greatest adventure. We are a team of beautiful feet and we refuse to hide our light. We are the Church, so we will bring Good News. We will bring it to the poor, the needy, the lonely, and the broken like ourselves. We will bring it to the lost, the hurt, the hungry, and the hopeless.

There is more for us in Christ than what we’ve experienced thus far. And Church, we can’t afford not to pursue it. We can’t afford not to pursue him. We are ACTIVATE(D). And with your help, we will work to see Christ glorified in whole neighborhoods and networks of new disciples of Jesus!
